Who is eligible to apply:

Students in Grade 12 at a KY public high school in a district associated with the East Region Association of Technology Coordinators, also known as KETS Region 8

The student must demonstrate, through video & application submission their work in the fields of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math) with evidence of individual/personal accomplishments [including photo and video evidence from throughout the year], leadership examples, innovations and creativity. The student should demonstrate strong evidence of communication skills, community outreach & school involvement, collaboration, creativity, & critical thinking. Accomplishments in STEM related competitions and/or industry certifications. 

The student MUST detail and demonstrate a strong desire and plan to use their STEM education to impact the Eastern KY Economy and their community for future generations.

Minimum GPA: 2.5

Transcript with GPA & ACT Score must be submitted via email to neil.arnett@pikeville.kyschools.us from the email of your High School Counselor.

Video detailing all requirements of the rubric should be uploaded to YouTube and the URL of the YouTube video submitted at the form website [YouTube videos may be uploaded as "Unlisted" so that the link remains only visible to the student and judges].
